This piece was so much fun to create.
To create this watercolour effect with acrylics, I used a natural sponge for the background, before enhancing it with brushstrokes and adding the wheat.
My paintings are intentionally small, 8x8 inches, as many of my regular customers request this size as they are easy to hang, frame or place on a bookcase or mantlepiece.
