Roaming wild in turbulent skies and seas, these large Albatross birds enjoy a freedom roaming the winter seas, hoping to snare a fish thrown close to the surface in the high seas, as seen around the coast in winter.
The high seas are created in a textured technique whilst the skies are finished with a smooth brush work. 61 x 82 x 4 cm (24 x 32 x 1.5 inches).
Created on a deep sided canvas using a palette of yellows, blue /greys with white. It is painted at the sides to tone. The skies are with smooth brush work combined with a deep texturing of the foam and waves crashing against rocks.
The painting is signed on the back with Elizabeth's logo on the side. The painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed, dated, numbered and ready to hang.
