An atmospheric watercolour painted on textured canvas featuring a forest trail through the tree towards a full moon. Trees are my passion in art and for the most part the paintings are imaginative drawn from my many walks in the Worcestershire countryside. I don't do any initial drawing and the paintings tend to evolve use the patterns and shapes created from the initial wash on the textured canvas. In this painting I wanted to use the shape of the full moon to draw the viewer down the path.
The painting is professionally framed in a st ives tray frame as illustrated and the photo of the painting in situ is true to size.
