Dramatic rocks, crashing surf and a dark threatening sky, all the ingredients for an amazing painting of the coastline around Britain. Painted in Cornwall, this seascape was created largely by me standing in a perilous place, easel and brushes in hand. A large wave took hold of my canvas and sent it out to sea. Finished the painting in my studio, safely in Dorset. Still, Turner could do it, so can I!
