This painting was inspired by finding a very beautiful, large shell on the beach near where I live. Then I imagined that this shell was a giant shell where crabs could live in, and soon after that I started to write a story of their life in my head, which I hope to put to paper at some point.
I really enjoyed painting this and I hope you enjoy looking at it.
My paintings are intentionally small, 8x8 inches, as many of my regular customers request this size as they are easy to hang, frame or place on a bookcase or mantlepiece.
