A large depiction of a mountain range looking down on a river valley predominated by cold hues.
The work doesn`t depict a real location and is mostly imaginary. It does however take inspiration from some specific views of the Himalayas.
Plenty of linear brush strokes are used to accentuate the jagged sharp outlines of the rocks, especially in the magmatic rocks in the foreground.
Materials used:
-Premium quality oil paints (Talens - Van Gogh, Rembrandt)
-Liquin painting medium (Winsor and Newton - fine detail)
-Cotton canvas
