This is a windmill in Rye, East Sussex, that I have known all my life, living just eleven miles away in Hastings. The mill was long ago turned into very pleasant living accomodation, and sits right beside the Hastings-Ashford railway line. A path crosses the line on the left side of the painting.
Painted in oils on a primed lined-covered mdf board. In a simple white wooden frame with fixings attached. Ready to hang. The framed size is 13ins X 9ins.
