This etching is a view of the National Trust property of Nymans in Handcross West Sussex. The mock medieval mansion was built in 1915 for the Messel family. It unfortunately burnt down eight years after completion leaving a romantic ruin.
The etching was produced using the technique of drypoint on an acrylic plate with a diamond tip pen. The image is A3 size and printed on an etching press with Charbonnel Etching Ink on 300gsm Bockingford Watercolour Paper, sold unframed. There are only 2 prints available from an edition of 6. The prints are rolled in a hard protective tube for delivery.
