I love the morning mists we get here in the Purbeck Valleys, the ethereal quality and the peaceful scenery it creates. This painting is one of my favourite views across from West Orchard , looking East beneath Corfe Castle and beyond to Swanage.
When I look at this, I can here the distant sounds of bleating sheep, the cows puffing and tearing at grass and smell the fresh morning air.
