This was a view discovered on a cycle from Hampstead to Paddington following taking part in a painting competition I participated in on Hampstead Heath, winning joint second prize. I often find new views on my bicycle and set up to paint on it also with my bicycle easel I invented for paintings created en plein air 15" for medium to small works at the moment I am inspired.
It was the light shimmering on the water disappearing as far as the eye could see, the houseboats and flora that particularly attracting me. I am always drawn to water!
The price includes the frame.
The frame measures 13" x 15" x 1".
