I painted this little oil painting 'en plein air' from my own garden pond using vibrant colours and paying attention to all the reflections and water droplets. The painting captures a moment in summer after a heavy downpour of rain. I've used pinks and mauve for the lily pads and the sumptuous white lily flowers create a tranquil dreamy atmosphere.
Signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
