Take a step back in time, when afternoon tea at a posh hotel was a place to see and be seen. You wore your finest clothes, and ladies, a a big hat, whilst you listened to the band play light classics, and jazz. The waitress in full uniform , serves cakes from the bamboo trolley, and afterwards brushes the crumbs from the cloth onto a special little matching tray. Nostalgia at it's best.
