Elephants are know to have strong family relationships. They 'talk' to each other with very low sounds, people cannot hear them but elephants can hear these sounds far away. In total elephants have 24 teeth but when the last molar falls out the elephant dies because it cannot eat. They can live for about 70 years. I work most of my animal paintings from photographs and most backgrounds I create once I see how the painting is progressing. For this painting I used artist quality oil paints on a stretched cotton canvas. It's framed with a gold colour wooden frame.
