An oil painting of wild horses seen in the Black Mountains in Wales, where the horses are allowed to wander freely.
I used a palette knife for much of this piece to give texture and a feeling of the wild, bleak landscape. There is a heather-covered hill top in the background, and a windy sky. The horses are tough and unkempt.
I have painted the edges of the canvas so the painting can be hung on the wall as it is, or put into a frame if preferred.
