This is the 2nd painting in my 'Escape to the moment' series. And this particular piece is called 'Weight of the water'
We have all felt like we are drowning in life but in realisation life isn't as heavy as it seems.
Water can be very heavy but it breaks eventually, we can collect out flowers and proceed to walk through it, just like life itself.
This is acrylic paint and modelling paste on a 50cm by 60 cm primed canvas. The modelling paste makes the waves become 3D. The lady is acrylic paint on canvas paper, cut out and then stuck on to create the same effect as the waves.
The canvas has been sealed with a decoupage medium.
