There are moments in your life when you slip into a different mode of thinking and you experience a state of flow. Your cares slip away, thoughts recede and you lose track of time. It was in such a state that I painted this, my instincts and feelings bypassing the analytical side of my brain and working directly through the brushes, the paint and the canvas.
I titled the picture ’Tranquility’, and I’d like to think that it has captured that state of calm. Allow yourself time to look.
