Flowers are such an amazing beauty and wonder to us.
We communicate with flowers
Saying, I love you
Saying, thank you
Saying, thinking of you
Saying, get well soon
Saying, sorry for your loss
and so the list goes on.
Flowers on the other hand
Stand up proud displaying their colour and beauty with pride
Have no issues and sadness about their short existence
It is just there,
and if they were human,
I am sure they would have enjoyed all the fuss about their beauty and what they meant to each one.
These flowers made me think of my mum,
As she learnt she was terminally ill,
She asked me to buy a rose tree and to give it to her best friend,
with a message.
'Whenever it bears some roses, please remember me and us.'
And the friend did just that.
