‘Time for Lewis’ is influenced by a family member who has a love for watches. The mechanical theme of this artwork is aesthetically pleasing on the eye whilst the mixture of numbers, watch faces and cogs compliment each other. The compass symbolises direction which can be aligned with the sun using a watch indicating the passing of ‘Time’’.
The colour palette for ‘Time for Lewis’ is neutral tones with a hint of metalic acrylic paint which compliments the theme of watches and cogs and as always I add in 3 circles(or large dots) in each artwork to show my love of circular shapes.
The artist hand paints her logo to represent a modern finish to her artworks which is consistent throughout her portfolio.
