Each proverb serves as a window into human nature, offering profound insights into life’s complexities.\r\nThis is an apt visualisation of the proverb also known as “Each fancies his owl to be a falcon”, that is still common in present-day Holland. A man in a falconer’s habit is showing off his hunting bird. Blinded by opaque eyeglasses, he does not realise that it is an owl. Only the owl, casting a sceptical glance at the beholder, appears to have maintained its common sense.\r\nPerfect for adding a statement piece to living spaces that may create a talking point with visitors.\r\nExecuted in excellent quality acrylic paints, painted on all sides, and finished with a glaze of gloss varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. It just needs a nail or wall fitting to sit flush against the wall.\r\nYou will receive a signed certificate of authenticity.\r\nThe painting is 16 x 12 inches in size and is on stretched canvas.\r\nAll art is professionally packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
