{"product_id":"sunrise-over-cuil","title":"Sunrise over Cuil","description":"Acrylic painting depicting an early morning sunrise over Cuil near Uig on the north end of the Isle of Skye.\r\nI painted this painting in my studio from some quick sketches and I have used some artistic licence over the positioning of some of the houses.\r\nI often paint sunsets and dusk scenes so so a sunrise makes a nice change.\r\nIt was a drizzly dull morning as I remember but occasionally morning sunlight would split the clouds and illuminate the land and sea below.\r\nCaught in the light to the right of the painting is Captain Frazers Folly or \"The Tower\"\r\nas most locals call it today.
