Marine Protection Reserves have been established in the North Leeward Islands in the West Indies .At the Reserve by St Barts I was privileged to spend half an hour snorkelling with this green turtle as it fed & came up for air .
The light filtering down gave it a magical feeling which I have endeavoured to capture with this painting sourced from several photos I took . I have deliberately left part of the painting unfinished .
The painting is on acrylic paper 140 lb.
