This painting was sourced from a couple of photos ( and acknowledgement to Nicki Heenan) of a bay surrounded by cliffs where several seals were resident . In an attempt to capture the rock texture and colour I have adopted an abstract approach . The painting is in watercolour on Bockingford 140lb paper .
