Original, impressionist, pleinair, landscape, oil painting 10x12 inches (25x30 cm). New Forest national park, finished in the studio as the light was changing fast and I couldn't keep up.
Painting is made on canvas panel primed with 3 layers of high quality gesso and 1 layer of GOLDEN GAC 100 primer to prevent sinking of colour over the time, where pigment would otherwise loose the crisp look due to loss of oils contained in the paint. That will ensure the bright and fresh appearance of oil paint over the long period of time.
All my paintings are always treated with thin layer of protective varnish after they dry. The painting is signed and sold unframed. All materials are archival.
