This is a painting of an area of Box Hill in Surrey. We were walking up there one summers day - as we approached the old gate the sun was streaming through the gap in the trees. It looked beautiful. I took a photograph straight away before it was gone. I have painted different versions of this painting a couple of times now. This is the last painting left in this series.
