They are one of my favourite flowers to grow as they herald the beginning of spring and the hope of warmer weather.\r\nI used a bristle brush for this painting and thick paint to give texture and interest.\r\nThe support is a birch board, and I have left the sides unpainted to show the beauty of the wood grain.
