Lincoln Edge is the ridge that stretches North to South through much of the county. Lincoln Cathedral sits on one of the highest points and you can see it from pretty much anywhere. I painted this “en plain air” sitting at the edge of the field on a hot day, when the colours were vibrant and the paint was drying almost as soon as I got it on the palette.
This an acrylic landscape, painted on a cradled wooden panel. This can be mounted straight on the wall.
