The perfect gift for those seeking unique art. Beautifully sculpted horse cast in Foundry Bronze metal. Stunning piece. Patina - dark brown with a touch of verdigris. Free standing.
Modelled in wax then hand cast, at Art Of Fine Nature Foundry in Somerset, using the lost wax casting method. No mould remains as it was destroyed as part of the natural casting process. This bronze is therefore unique. A one-off creation. Bronze bears the artist’s signature.
Inspiration followed observation of horses grazing in the field conjuring up a relaxed feeling on a summer's day. Created after several practice modelling sessions with close up viewing of a live horse.
Measurements: W7cm x L21cm x H15cm. Weight approx 3.4Kg.
Sold with certificate of authenticity.
Each sculpture has a bespoke cardboard box made for it by D'Lucie for quality protection with a label drawn by the artist thereon.
