{"product_id":"girl-on-the-purple-queen-phone","title":"Girl on the (Purple Queen) phone","description":"This very large picture of a girl on a purple phone uses over 3000 British postage stamps-mainly Arnold Machin designs from 1971 and the old fashioned (pre- digital) ones on the purple phone. The stamps and ink bring depth and texture, making the figure's expression vibrant and immediate.  Having used several of Lichtenstein’s Pop Art women for a variety of projects, I needed to create Ben-Day dots. Lichtenstein used the industrial method of silk screen printing, but not having that facility I purchased pieces of zinc plate with different size holes which I used to hand produce ‘dots’ with a set of permanent ink pens. The finished work radiates a powerful, nostalgic vibe that will electrify any space, inviting viewers to feel a tension and intimacy from within her expression.","brand":"Peter Mason","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55279861858595,"sku":null,"price":1000.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0979\/9401\/5011\/files\/1girlonapurplephone_u2px0_1152515781.jpg?v=1782418190","url":"https:\/\/lovely.art\/products\/girl-on-the-purple-queen-phone","provider":"Lovely.art","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
