This painting was so fun. I loved every minute of it.
I love painting space and galaxies as I love sci-fi. Painting this through a window just felt right.
A lot of my paintings tell a story. This one is about me looking into the galaxy beyond from my window.
I painted the galaxy sky first with acrylic paintings, I used an old toothbrush to create the distant stars. Then, finally, I added the window, curtain and windowsill and shadows.
My paintings are small 8x8", acrylics on canvas, but they can be hung on a wall as they are with a hook, can be easily framed or can be placed on a bookcase or mantlepiece.
