Five Peonies is a painting that was wanting to be very simplistic as can be. A delicate sense of brushworks, ambient colour scheme and as basic a composition as can be done with many wavy leaves and attention to the smallest of details, I wanted to depict more of the homely feel yet a contrast of yellow against pink and green.
