This impressionistic painting of a field of sunflowers has many layers building up the depth and colours. It has been sealed with a mat varnish. The side are painted black and it is ready to hang without a frame.
Living in Dorset gives me access to the beautiful Dorset countryside as well as the coast. Spring is the best time to get out and do some sketches and take some photos to then go and create some artwork.
