My ferruginous duck sculpture was inspired by time spent in the Doñana national park which is not far from where I have a house in the south of Spain. Here I have been able to observe and photograph the wildlife. I have used a colourful patina to represent the colours of the ferruginous duck and simple lines to represent it´s elegance. The sculpture is about lifesize and could be suited to either an indoor or an outdoor setting.
