Taking a young face and attempting to make it look weathered and troubled was tough. I kept the eyes bright and hopeful and everything else drained and dark. I weathered the drawings themself with scratch marks, candle wax and even sauce. It was an intriguing project that I hope someone else will enjoy the interesting concept of. The piece is made up of three separate charcoal drawings all measuring 60cm by 71cm.
