I group them by theme and over time amass enough of a certain theme to create an artwork.\r\n\r\nSome of these little images are from vintage books of up to approx 70 years old. I am particularly drawn to the vintage imagery that's created using old litho print methods. The colours of the landscapes are often a violet or green hue.\r\n\r\nThe old plates are carefully extracted from the books, bonded onto birch plywood boards giving them a textured hand-painted surface texture.
