‘Diamond Mike’ was inspired on my return from a trip to Vegas. The ace of diamonds became a standing joke as my partner ‘Mike’ was always dealt that particular card, thus the name ‘Diamond Mike’.
The artwork represents all the memorable experiences from the trip including famous landmarks, Grand Canyon, overnight Ranch stay, local culture, Gun Range, Floral Arrangements and many more.
In 'Diamond Mike', I used acrylic paints for this background with an American spirited colour palette, using expressionistic brush strokes throughout the theme. Fine liner acrylic ink pens complete the artwork with finesse and detail with the artists energetic passion.
The artist hand paints her logo to represent a modern finish to her artworks which is consistent throughout her portfolio.
