Here is another painting of Hens, a feature of the wildlife and the Crofting lifestyle on the Hebrides. Many crofters keep chickens and sell eggs on the side of the road, 1/2 doz for £2. We also keep three hens. I used a crofthouse in the distance, which is in my village and a loch in background.
