A painting of a sleepy little village in the Auvergne, France, on a very hot Saturday afternoon. Encountered by my wife and I some years back. A magical place.
Painted in oils on a cradled wooden board (triple gessoed), with the sides (18mm deep) painted black. 11.5 inches X 8.25 inches. Fixings are attached (D-rings and soft steel wire). Ready to hang.
